I'm wondering if we are all looking at the wrong point of view on human bone growth as people with acromelagy can still keep on growing even after they are way past their puberty and growing age. If it is said that bone plates will fuse after their growing age thus stopping height growth, how come people with acromelagy can still continue growing? In case you dont know, acromelagy is a syndrome of overly active pituitary gland in the brain usually caused by tumours in that area which causes it to keep on producing growth hormones. So is the concept of height growth false in this matter? Science sure has a lot of explaining to us... What I mean is that it is the growth hormone production in acromelagy causing people to keep on growing is contradicting with the bone plate fusion theory which states that upon reaching adulthood it fuses and people wont grow from that anymore
